Just joined and will be learning how Rennlist works in order to learn more about Porsches and the community that surrounds them. My garage consists of a 2014 cayman 3.8 conversion and a 1980 928. I checked the list of forums but did not see a 928 forum. Where does everyone go to talk about 928s?

Is there an overview of what all the abbreviations mean used in the forum?
It would have been nice if one could go in and see what OEM, PPF etc means :-)
(I know what OEM is but not PPF :-) )

Is there any rule or limit around "bumping" a thread for visibility in the classifieds?

I've already read the buying / selling rules post and looked elsewhere on the site, but can't seem to find anything about this. I want to make sure my WTB ad is visible and people see it who might have what I'm looking for, but don't want to spam or break the rules. Thanks!

I'd suggest using Google. these short forms are not exclusive to Rennlist, they are much broader.

Don't bump more than a few times a week, is a good approach to take.

found some items (center caps) I'd like to buy....but there was a banner notice stating that I should not purchase outside rennlist using payment apps like zelle, etc. So....how do I go about purchasing something from someone?
I can't find the way to order/purchase otherwise.

Use PayPal and link the payment to the transaction here on Rennlist. Never send money via 'friends & family' as that removes all protections for buyer and seller.
