Great turn out yesterday. We were very light on Lotus cars (just 1 Elise), but we had plenty of new Porsches that had not previously attended, a red 944 Turbo, a silver 944, a 996 GT3, a blue 981S Boxster, a pair of 987.1 Cayman's , an M6, 2 M3s, a 5 Series, and several other cars. Always nice chatting with our regulars, Dan, Ken, Steve, Mike, Rob, Raoul, Don...oops almost forgot Charlie (glad you made it!). And welcome to our newer attendees Ray, Ed, Bill, Bee, Connie, and several others. Sorry some of the names escape me at the moment, it takes me a while to learn all the new names (a good argument for name tags one of these days )
Looks like our next meet will be July 27th.
Best regards,
Dino
I love the new avatar! Looks fantastic!!! I'm sure Kevin will join us soon.
I know you can't make this Sunday's drive, but it seems we will have a clone of Kevin's car joining us,
a new 991 Turbo S Cabriolet. Maybe he will join us for a C&C soon, since one of his friends who has been told him about us.
I was planning on coming last Sunday then the wife told me we were heading to Nantucket. So while you guys were standing around a parking lot on Sunday I was on the beach. I've been wanting to come fore a while but baseball season ran till the end of July. I'm hoping to be at the next one
The weather isn't looking very good for tomorrow morning, with a better than 50% chance of thunderstorms passing through Taunton from 7-9am. So with potential for a very small turn out, I'm canceling tomorrow's C&C.
Next Sunday is a big Italian car show at Larz Anderson, so our next meet will be Sunday August 17th.
Have a great weekend,
Dino
Thanks for the heads up. Even though they had a Mclaren once, its mostly off road trucks and muscle cars. Even though its open to everything...not sure how truly open they are to Porsches, Lotus, Fcars etc. Brought an F car to one of these things once (not this exact event), but it didn't go over that well. Also with construction around Berkley, not sure how easy it is to get to these days. Thanks anyway.
Very nice turn out and the weather cooperated through most of the meet, just a few light drops at the end, and so far no reports of anyone's car's melting Plenty of regulars were there: Ken, Dan, Kevin, Noel, Frank, and Mike. There were some new faces and cars, Hans, Russ, Pasquale and a few others that escape me...sorry keep attending and I'll eventually get all the names (anyway glad you could join us and I hope you will attend again!). For those that weren't able to make our July 17th drive Kevin brought his stunning metallic black 991 Turbo S...which is practically capable of reaching Mach 2! I had a great drive back with Ryan and his 911 driving pals, see the pix below.
Some people will be away for Labor Day Weekend so our next meet will be Sept 7th.
Hey Dino
Sorry for being a no show this summer but there always seems to be a conflict. This past weekend was daughters wedding. I was gonna come to the previous C&C but it was called off due to weather. I hope to make the 7th if I am not too tired from my DE at LRP the day before. I will get there again before we put our cars away for the winter.

Hey Steve,
No worries, I understand and hope that your daughter's wedding was a lot of fun. If the weather cooperates we will hopefully have 2 meets in Sept. and 2 meets in October. Looking forward to catching up soon.
