Chris & Afshin it was good to see you guys. The weather ended up being great as well. For those of you who couldn't make it we were "taunted" by plenty of mustangs and camaros doing 1st gear drive bys on the main plaza entrance while their drivers gave us dirty looks lol. We need a couple more cars to strengthen our herd next time!

Chris, it was definitely you having the hat and no sunglasses that threw me when I saw you this time, plus I hadn't been to the last few gtg's and seen the GT3...car looks great, silver belts and hardbacks are awesome. The alcantara was nice as well. Tom is quiet sometimes, and likes cars but is not used to the show/gtg/gathering thing yet. He liked the GT as well, I asked him on the drive home if he thought the car was cool and he said "Oh Yeah!" It definitely has a nice stance and sounded great.

Afshin, the spyder looks great! A lot of the guys are getting them, and I can tell why, it really is a fabulous car. I will say it again. The insides of your wheels were waaaaaaaay too clean for having drove up to Taunton. Not acceptable unless we were going to a big show, I expect to see some evidence of some spirited driving next time haha.

If either of you guys want a little sample of the cleaner I am testing on my seats to try on yours, I can probably find some little sample jars and bring you some, I have a whole gallon of it. Let me know.

Hopefully see you guys and a few more of us next time. Also, Afshin noted that German Car day is on father's day, if anyone is going and/or preregistering, I would be interested in an early group drive/caravan for the RI guys and then maybe we can meet any MA guys there or at a halfway point?

Next weekend is German car day at Larz. I might try to go to that depending on my schedule. Mike mentioned a potential group drive up to Larz. Next Saturday won't work for me. But I am definitely up for a Sunday meet on June 26th!

I would meet up on Saturday but I've got my first oil change appointment at 10AM and they're telling me it will take a couple of hours.

Ryan you should try to go to German Car day at Larz, last year was an incredible turnout of some unique German Cars. You're 993 would fit right in. I'll put up a post so everyone knows about it.

Sorry, its not in Newport. Its in Taunton, MA. A few people confirmed & Taunton works for them. Its kind of a mid way point for people coming from parts of MA and people from RI. The address is the Starbucks Parking Lot, Taunton, MA (65 H Taunton Depot Drive, Taunton, MA 02780). Its a nice drive up on a Sunday

Hey Ryan, we typically try to be there around 9:30 AM. That gives everyone enough time to get some sleep and still avoid traffic. My wife is going tomorrow too, she hasn't been out yet on a warm day with the top down so she's looking forward to the drive.

Great seeing everyone today and a great turnout. I'm glad the wives were also able to make it, I know Bia had a good time and said she would go again in the future.
