I remember your mint condition red 944 from the show at the Elms. I hope to see it at some of the local gatherings this year.
As Marine Blue/Afshin mentioned, we want to give people a chance to get their cars back on the road (and give the highway department a chance to patch some pot holes), but we will post details for cars & coffee gatherings soon.
Best regards,
Dino

Yes,
it was nice meeting you at the elms as well. I know we didn't get much time to talk - I got there late and had no time to final detail and you were on your way out as well. Definitely looking forward to meeting up and catching up with you, I will let you take a look at some pics of the other project I am working on (XKE).

Hi Mike,
I look forward to seeing your beautiful 944 and the pix of your E-Type project soon.
If you get a chance pick up a copy of Hemmings Exotic and Sports Car magazine. It has a nice article on the 50th anniversary if the E-Type and some great stories from E-type owners.
Best regards,
Dino

I saw this thread and wanted to extend an invite for all to check out the newest Cars & Coffee GTG that is looking to gain traction.
Please check out the info HERE
Hope to see some RI Rennlisters join the fun that is going to start as the location is right off Route 95.
Look forward to seeing some Porsches as the weather improves. Saturday is viable if Sunday is already spoken for. Please reply to the new thread if there is interest.

I'm definitely up for meeting at the Taunton Starbucks this Sunday! Only problem for me is that my Spyder is still in NJ (won't have time to pick up until April) so I will be in my Speed3 (hopefully with summer wheels/tires).
A few of us have met up at the Starbucks in Taunton and it is a great spot. The parking lot is large, not too much traffic and there is a row in the back where we can park and enjoy some coffee without getting in anyone's way. If a ton of people show there's an empty parking lot at the Circuit City which is even more out of the way and can accomodate a gathering of epic proportions.
If the gathering does get larger I will be talking to the property manager to make sure we are ok to meet there.
Anyways if you guys are interested here are the details:
Location:
65 Taunton Depot Dr # A
Taunton, MA 02780-6962
Time:9:00 AM
Date:
Sunday March 20, 2011
I will send PM's and emails to a few others who have expressed interest. I will also add a new thread in the coming week or two to make this a regular event every two weeks.
Hope to see you guys there!

March 20th in Taunton works for me!
Although, I probably won't have the Boxster ready until maybe the next cars & coffee...so it will probably be a dirty Mercedes (we have company so no time to wash it).
See you Sunday.
Best regards,
Dino

Hey guys,
I am actually working this weekend and won't be able to make it, plus the 993 is at the garage getting the 60K service completed, so I will be porsche-less for the weekend.
Are any of you going to the hershey, PA meet in a few weeks??

Sunday: Sunny & chilly. Highs in the mid 40s...low 40s along the coast.
Broken tail light may keep me away this time, but sounds like a good time with fellow Rennlisters and some nice P-cars attend.
I would still like to get the Walpole, MA GTG going as well. Perhaps on the off week from the Taunton C&C. Every weekend is better than every other and with the rain-outs inevitable it would give all a better chance to gather.
Warmer weather is coming

Hi Boston 951,
I love 944 Turbos and I hope to see yours at a future gathering. The 951s were one of my dream cars back in high school.
Unfortunately, Walpole is kind of a trek for some of us in RI/Southern MA. So I doubt it would work for me other than on rare occasions.
However, I hope to meet up with you at a future meet.
Best regards,
Dino
