Default Boston area Dealer? Ira? Herb? Who do you trust with your baby?

I have to admit, I have been spoiled by Porsche Exchange in Chicago. There is a reason they are Premier dealer. All the boys there were absolute Porschephiles.

Well... I moved to Boston last year and now the time has come to do my first service on my Cayman S. I want to do the first one with the dealer and everything after that with an independent. Reason is that there is a minor tech bulletin and I want them to possibly run the ECU update, besides the standard 1st service.

So who is not sleazy in these neck of the woods not looking to rape you with the bills? Ira? Herb?

Jerry will be my top choice once I am ready for further work on my CS, but I do want to do the first one with the dealer though. Jerry can't do the tech bulletin on "trunk thump" issue Caymans exhibit.

NOT Herb Chambers in Boston!

Prime in Norwood has been good to me.

I was very disappointed with the response time of Prime and Herb Chambers... and apparently to some people I have spoken with, both have bad reputation for **** poor service.

That said I went to Nashua Porsche and was very pleasantly surprised. Mike took care of me, did not waste his energy trying to upsell me, just did what was necessary, took care of warranty issues. Absolute pleasure to deal with! And Matt, who worked on my car, took the time to walk me through everything he has done and answered all the questions. That is definitely Porsche-level service! Felt like I was treated as if I brought a CGT for service, not a Cayman for annual maintenance.
Definitely worth the 30 mile each way.

I will have EPE do my breaks and alignment, once I make up my mind on exactly what I want.
