Another Rhode Islander here! 2005 GT3 in the NW corner of RI. Nice to see some increasing interest in car events around the area. I'm always jealous of the guys in the "sunny states" and all the cars centric events they have.

GPS address for event may 17nth 10am
This hotel overlooks the lot we will be parking at and I know works on GPS.... weary on using a beach address in GPS, if you make it here the lot is right below and should see the cars.... thanks

Cancelled due to weather.... sorry
I may still shoot down for an informal meet if enough people still want to get an informal meet together rain or shine, just PM me if you would be interested...
It’s with great regret that I need to cancel this event... The weather is just not cooperating and seems that the forecast is getting wetter and wetter as the days draw near. I have put in a lot of time, energy, effort etc. into setting this up and no one is more frustrated then me. Sorry, just have never attended a outdoor car event in the rain and enjoyed myself....this being a meet, greet and -ride- all the more need for at least decent weather...over cast would have been fine but rain/thunderstorms could cause more stress and head aches to the event and only % of the turn out that a nicer day could bring.
I will try and get a back up date out asap...... and hope all can understand my decision to cancel. (many emails and PM's suggesting the same, thanks for the input) I could have waited until Saturday night to see if the weather changed but that won't give me enough time to warn others planning to attend. If Cars and coffee up North is still going on maybe that can be an option for the day for people?
Again sorry for the news..... and hope to be back in touch soon with a new date.

The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, and I'm looking for a good excuse to drive the car down from Southern MA to RI for a little while on Saturday. If anyone is interested in meeting for coffee and chatting cars over by the Barnes & Noble/Starbucks in Middletown for an hour or two on this Saturday morning I'd be happy to meet some local RI car enthusiasts.

May suggest starting a new thread, and I plan to attend if we can get a handful of cars together.... maybe get something up on ferrarichat?

I'm also from Johnston, still looking for some locals to go for spirited drives once in a while, I sent you a PM. If anyone else around RI is interested in meeting up and getting together when this weather improves, definitely count me in. This state is too small for us not to run into each other, yet it never seems to happen.
