Thanks Petza914 - I did the regular paypal, and then actually challenged the charge, but then after 'investigation' PP said their guarantee only applies to deliveries, and not when you go and physically pick up the item. - either way, I think this has run its course, and now it's just good times going forward. - thanks for the good advice!

Make sure you do regular PayPal and not Friends & Family do when he doesn't drop it off or it's gotten beat-up in the last year, you have a recourse through PayPal.
