Hi, sorry I didn't see your message sooner. I actually ended up going to Meineke with a picture of what I wanted. They were hesitant and tried to talk me out of it but eventually agreed to do it. The whole process took about 4 hours. They lifted the car up, pulled the mufflers out from underneath. Welded a 2" pipe between the inlet and outlet as shown in the pictures. Put it back in and fired up the engine. The very next thing that happened is a big grin on my face. It sounded so sweet, I couldn't wait to drive off with it.

If you haven't already done it just find a good muffler shop in your neighborhood and go there with some pictures. It is a pretty simple job, anyone should be able to do it. If I had the tools I would have done it my self.

Hi akacaj. If I remeber correctly you actually had the gundo hack done on your ride not too long ago in ny correct? I have an 08 S' and I'm thinking about doing but don't know too many shops in the NYC area. Can you recommend me a spot? Did they do a good job? Everything go smoothly? and what size pipes did you use? Thanks in advance. The stock exhaust just sounds too tame right now...
