    Richland, sorry I missed this VM until now - I check my PMs frequently, but not my VMs. The kit I have is for deactivating the passenger side front air bag only so that a booster seat could be used in the front. I never installed it as it looked more complicated than I wanted to tackle. For your purpose where you want to have the airbags deploy with non-Porsche seats, I don't know how those electrics are tied together, but in 2006 and newer, there's a weight sensor in the front pass seat that deactivates the airbag on that side, so they are definitely linked. You probably need to talk to your dealer or maybe a shop that race preps cars. Alternatively, you could buy Porsche buckets that are compatible with a harness bar and 5 point belts. They would have the yellow plugs on the bottom to keep everything working, but with a multi-point harness, I don't think you need the front airbags. The harness will hold you firmly in the seat where you wouldn't impact anything
