Jeff, it is just the pain of doing the HG all over again, here the weather is getting better, although I did order and new valance for the front that needs to get prepped and put on, so off with the intake, and head!

You may want to pull your oil cooler and check the seals and the cooler itself. You can make a very simple pressure tester for the cooler.

I Just reread you post regarding white smoke - is it possible that you didn't get the torque right when you bolted on the head? Hopefully it will be a simple problem like this that allowed the new gasket to let go.
