    Hi Dr. Porschetech,

In this thread you mentioned tip transmissions using Trans-Go upgraded valves for my for 5HP19 ZF transmission.

    https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...ufactured.html

It's time to finally figure out who to talk to about an off-season repair/replace on the tranny. Would you have any transmission shops in the Midwest you think I should talk to about this work, or who might be a good source for a rebuilt or reliable used transmission? Kelly Moss couldn't give me a referral.

Hi Skip, I finally got my engine back from LNE and am looking for a machine shop that can service my cylinder heads. I was advised to get a referral from you for someone in the Houston area. I had a guy lined up but life caught up to me and I lost his contact info. Any recommendation?

Sorry to pm you but from posts I have read you seem really know these cars inside and out. Maybe you can help me? I had to do an emergency close on my roof due to rain. The parking brake switch was faulty and I replaced it. I used the PDF calibrate process. The gear on the locking latch was out. I calibrated it. The compartment lid resistance was way out of whack. I took out the motor and adjusted to 6.2k ohms and when I put it back, it went to 6.35k ohms. In the PDF it doesn't really tell you how to remove the pot. Is there a trick or will my PIWIS calibrate with a 6.35k ohm pot setting? Thank you in advance.

Looking for a UAOS for a 2000 C2 built to 3.8L with LNE components, if that matters. Could you put me on the wait-list, let me know where to PayPal and find installation instructions (searching this site gives many results, lol).
Many thanks for your continuing expertise on this forum.

    Skip,

Sorry if this is not the right way to DM. I am reaching out about the actuator spring. Please let me know what you need from me. I can do PayPal or other method of payment.

Hi Skip, has Jake weighed in on the UAOS? Would he support installing one for one of his rebuilds?

Skip, Just to back up my words, I just ordered the UAOS elite. I am in no hurry to install it if it is back-ordered as I have a lot of cold weather and snow to contend with....so I am looking around the middle of April to begin a host of upgrades.
