    Hi Mike

Just joined as a new member. I'm in the middle of a 993 top end rebuilds project and found your fantastic post from a few years back - "DIY Engine Rebuild - Part X (10) - Piston's a pumping...." really liked what you did in creating that tang circlip install tool. I wondered if you ever did any drawings of the components so one could make one up? Appreciate its a long time ago!

    All the best

    Hi Mike.
I shall drive north over the summer. Baron and others mentioned the Sea to Sky drive to Whistler. It seems short, but marvelous. Other recommendations?
Laser and the RCMP seem reality, and radar detectors, although legal, don't help much. Bummer.
Are you going to Parade in Spokane in July? Not sure yet if I am, but others from Portland are.

So I finally got into the P car game. Not able to afford a 993....yet, but got a 996 C4S. I know you have them, but I think mine looks good with the low stance and the black wheels. already starting to do some mods to the interior to update the car. Here is a pic of my car, and 2 others of what my friends have got. The young guys can only afford the 996 cars.

    Hello Mike,

I have received some emails from you but I didn't open them because something didn't look right.

Was your email hacked or are they real?

    Mike,
Since you are the king in all things Targa I wanted to let you know I went to the big upholstery shops in town and making a new one is not an option in New Orleans.

Hey Mike, Please see message@30-32 under pollen filter. I started to PM you on it but felt your answer would be better used if all could see. I searched since that feature is working again and I was surprised at how many members have such a hard time with this part. Thanks for your help. MACK

Hi Mike, remember me? blk 993 turbo over at Scan with the wrong oil filter installed. I finally got my car back yesterday and it runs great. Couldn't beleive it was such a long process but I eventually bought a used set of turbos from Turbo Kraft instead of getting Kevin to redo the turbos properly at 3k+. Scan reimbursed me for the original turbo rebuild so I was out a total of around $300. Going through Kevin would have set me back over $2K so all in all I'm glad that James at Scan did his best to make things right. The turbos had to go back to turbo Kraft as one on the wastegates weren't opening properly. James still thinks the turbos won't last long as he thinks the root of the problem are the worn out valve guides due to poor compression. The car doesn't blow smoke and drives the same. What are your thoughts? Man I missed my car.

    Hi Mike,

I'm getting a set of Stage III's along with front and rear hood shocks. Do you have some time to work with me in getting these things done? If your schedule allows let's try to get together on this before your BBQ as I don't want to be a "lift hog" like some guys we know. Please let me know about your availabilty. Thanks! Cheers! Harlan

    Hi Mike,

Do you have 993 stock mufflers for sale ? Do you think they would fit in my C4S 1996 that
    has a B&B header ?
