Note: I had Porsche perform a Full inspection. They recommended replacing the rear CB Shafts, as one of them is showing signs of wear. They also recommended replacing the plastic underbody panels, as they are cracked (cosmetic). They also recommended replacing the front brakes and rotors, and doing a brake flush within the next 1000 miles or so.

These early Boxsters are becoming modern classics. This one is ready to enjoy immediately as a fun weekend convertible or reliable driver.

Serious buyers only.
More photos to come.
Full records, and details available.
Car comes with all the Vehicle Maintenance Records that I have.

79k. That's really odd that it asks me for mileage, but doesn't list it. I added it to the description.

That is definitely not cobalt blue. I think it might be Lapis. FYI

hmm, weird. I edited the ad to put in 79000 for the mileage and it worked here, at least!

Do you consider this rare because made in Finland, not Deutschland?

I was told it was rare to be made in Finland, and that it's sought after, also the color combo and manual transmission are hard to find.

I thought all the Boxsters prior to the 981 were made by Valmet in Finland...?

You're right! I found the Paint Code under the hood. It is Lapis Blue Metallic.

. A number of Boxster forums mention the “unofficial” percentage breakdown of build locations, at 85/15, Finland to Stuttgart. Also mentioned that Finland had a higher build quality, though ALL Boxster engines were built in Stuttgart, and shipped to Finland.

There are certainly rare “ish” color combo, and option builds….but these cars were built in big numbers. Extremely low mileage, in unusual colors, and well optioned…will always bring the strong money.

That being said, they are an incredibly enjoyable platform. My 03 S, after suspension, intake, and exhaust mods, and a custom wheelset…is an absolute joy. She compliments the garage perfectly. Just lots of car, for a little money.
