Description:
The time has come for me to sell my stunning Speed Yellow 2003 996 C4S. The car has been fantastic to own and is ready for the next caretaker to drive and enjoy. This car is just about perfect. Its basically bone stock aside from the H&R Street Performance Suspension I installed when I bought the car. It drives as good as it looks! Please reach out to me if you would like to discuss. I'm certainly open to offers/price negotiation, but not really interested in trades. Thank you.
The Details:
- 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S - Clean Carfax, No Accidents, Title in hand
- Speed Yellow - All Original Paint - amazing overall condition with just a couple very minor rock chips on the front bumper
- Approx 67,000 Miles
- Turbo Twist Wheels (not hollow spokes)
- H&R Street Performance Coilovers, strut mounts, sway bar links and spacers added in October - Alignment also performed at this time. Original OEM suspension is also available and included if you want it.
- Black Interior w/ Speed Yellow deviated stitching throughout
- Porsche Sport Exhaust
- Engine: The car received a brand new engine in 2009 after the dreaded IMS bearing failure. So the car has 67k miles, but the motor only has approx 45k miles
- Extensive stack of records dating back to 2009
- Service: 2025 - Battery and Oil Change & Coolant changed. Front Differential fluid replaced. 2023 - Ignition Coils, Spark Plugs & Drive Belt Replaced. Passenger window regulator replaced. 2022 - Starter Replaced. 2018 - Clutch & Flywheel replaced
Sometimes things are just meant to be. I wasn't intending on buying a car at the time, but the perfect Speed Yellow 996 presented itself to me, and I couldn't resist. This car was clearly well cared for and was available close enough to home that I had to take a shot. For the last few years I’d been looking for a 996 in Speed Yellow. Having missed out on a couple, and/or not being ready to buy, I decided to pull the trigger on this one back in October 2025. Its been a fantastic ownership experience. 996 C4S’s are really hot right now - and it’s clear to me why - they are freakin awesome 911’s to drive, but at a reasonable price. This body style has continued to get better with age. The car drives as good as it looks.
This car is of course all about the color - Speed Yellow. People absolutely love this car. You cannot help buy smile every time you see it.
Let me know if you have any questions about the car, or if you’d like to see it.

With this presentation, it might even fetch $100+ on BAT
I know the feeling, ended up buying a second 997 TT that popped up locally, just couldn't let that pass.
That's a strong number but hey, It's speed Yellow too
Good Luck!

If you had the finances or the vision, you would have done the same, no?
Could never understand why people bring up the prices the car was previously sold for (not sure if it's the same car though)?
It is a beautiful car none the less and interested parties should make the current owner a serious offer!

Thanks, and GLWS! Those photos are extremely well done.

Consider I faced a similar situation just a few months ago. I bought a very low mileage, beautiful e39 M5 from RFMC. 7 weeks later Ryan was offered a 2019 Touring in the exact spec I had been looking for the past two years. In my case “the time had come to sell the M5” because I needed the funds to put towards the GT3, which was my number one target car. Now those that know me also know I am known for illogical transactions so a short hold isn’t new to me either. Haha
[QUOTE=luv2race;20435019]hmmm, is it though? By definition “Hyperbole” is an exaggeration where this is perhaps a statement of fact.

There's no harm in buying to resell it as it takes certain level of risk and a chance of tying up your finances until the right situation comes along.

Looks like a great car at a reasonable price to me
I posted the link to BAT just to show there is very little money to be made after the seller performed the upgrades.
I hope it didn’t come across the wrong way — I definitely wasn’t criticizing the price.
