I dont doubt that, but the S/T was everything I saved up for a decade of living below my means, and financing $600K+ would be a huuuuge stretch, but I feel like its now or never, and I also know it just might be never; but I grew up being told that if you dont ask for something its 100% a no, so Im asking, and praying for a miracle.
I was told by a lot of people that I was wasting my time trying to get an S/T - that no dealerships would sell me one as a first time buyer, and even after 109 nos, and being laughed at and even ridiculed by some dealers, I kept calling, and my perseverance (or maybe stubbornness) paid off.

As someone who has also been doing some extremely frugal activities for the last couple years (albeit to a lesser goal). I respect your path and hope you find your car!

good luck on your new DD! Its so funny because sometimes you can just see the judgement on peoples faces when you drive a beater but who cares? It gets the job done and no DD car payment frees up funds for the fun car!
