If you have any general questions, feel free to ask here in the thread - thanks!
Do you still have all the original stock parts? I’ll likely need them to pass California smog.
Also, curious if there was a specific issue that led to the transmission replacement, or if it was done proactively?
Thank you.

As far as the trans.... 2nd gear had always been a bit of a nuisance. It's a known issue for this car and I did many of conservative (less expensive) approaches over the years.
Then this past summer my Indy said that the trans probably needs to be rebuilt. And while we're in there we should look at 3rd gear too.
At that price point of rebuilding 2 gears, I started looking for a whole tranny - when we saw a "reman" transmission from the factory and this was also when the tarrif threat was going on in Febuary-ish.
So, I pulled the trigger and just did the whole trans swap out (again, being my forever car, the cost was fine).
But unfortunately, my life circumstances have changed and now I am willing to part with it as long as it goes to a good home and at a fair price.

Haven't done a DME Report. No over-revs since I owned it, but I know the report would be nice to have to validate that.

I had some feelers out there for $62k to $65k and got shot down. When I looked at the auction sites most cars don't perform well there (for the Seller).
So thank for you chiming in and giving my 997 some love!!!
