THE CAR:
For is sale is my 2000 2.7L Porsche Boxster with 5spd. Clean Title with only 44,771 miles.
I'm the 2nd owner of this car, this 2000 boxster have a 1999 build date, which means, it's the first year the boxster received the 2.7L engine compared to the previous 2.5L. and still remains the double row IMS bearing with less than 1% failure rate. (no, the IMS have not been replaced, oil been inspected with no sign of bearing wear).
MAINTENANCE:
Original owner bought the car new in CA, had a porsche shop maintain it through most of her ownership. Brand new OEM headlight assumably was installed because of age and yellowing. Since my ownership, I had the car fully inspected by HOUSE Automotive in Pasadena, Oil, air filter, plugs, cabin filter, fluids, Air flow sensor, hawk brake pads, and new Continental Ext sports 2 Tires have less than few hundred miles on them.
In addition, sports exhaust, short shifter kit, new Alpine head unit was also installed for my own liking.
Just a few month ago, the soft top motor stopped working, soft top motors on both sides were replaced with OEM porsche parts for $3767.89 at HOUSE Automotive.
SUMMERY:
The is in excellent condition for it's age. garaged for it's entire life. Everything is in top working condition. All electronics/ buttons all works, AC blows very cold. paint is shinny and black interior is better than most I have seen. Reason I'm selling is I'm down sizing to make space for a new car. All OEM parts will be included with sale (exhause, radio, shifter) Price is FIRM. not in a rush to sell. please don't email me with offers without seeing the car. thank you.
