This is why I asked from the beginning. Wanted to see how transparent the seller would be. Hopefully they chime in and clear it up. I saw the report on CarGurus for the AutoCheck but wasn’t sure if it was also reported to carfax. Interesting
Clearly they are aware of this issue and used it in purchasing the car themselves to be able to CPO and still offer it here at such a "reasonable" price. A mint, clean example would be priced above this. I hope they will chime in and clear things up. It still may be a great buy, just hard to say without the background.

Hey everyone,
Wanted to do some digging into this issue. This is not something we would hide and after speaking with my pre-owned manager. The story is this vehicle was a Porsche demo vehicle at the Experience center. So that might clear up why you see damage before the car was titled and other items people have commented. This also explains the price point.
This is not something we would not have disclosed when someone would inquire about the car and before anything was signed. I appreciate everyone chiming in and I want to do everything I can to be open and honest because hiding anything will not benefit anyone.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
There was a damaged GT3RS that sold on BAT that the seller bought from PoNH with a Clean Car Fax but Autocheck had damaged history that may have occurred at the dealer? They are just trying to sell cars...caveat emptor.

Was determined to buy but I was told of the damage
Hi everyone,
I was looking to buy this GT3. The salesperson I spoke to stated it had been a Porsche NA vehicle and that it had damage in the rear repaired by Porsche NA. Salesperson sent me this screen grab where you can see PEC owned the car or used it as a track car. Tires have been changed a few times, car has new pads and by the looks of it Girodisc rotors.
No info or pics on accident and a price thats ~20k off a clean car with no track abuse (as a test drive car it sees far worse use than a track tool) made me look somewhere else for a GT3. Hope this helps anyone out there, but its a beautiful spec nonetheless!

Can you show me the listing for this vehicle? To my knowledge we have never sold a vehicle on Bring a Trailer from our store.
My apologies, PoNH did NOT sell the vehicle on BAT but there was reported damage history that may have occurred there. Of course this is all based on the comments during the sale.
Perfect example why I always run BOTH a Carfax and Autocheck on every car I buy, before it even gets to the PPI stage. I was burned by a Porsche/VW dealer about a decade ago. Purchased a 981 Cayman from them with a clean Carfax and no mention of damage. Discovered a ding on the Autocheck when I brought it to carmax for a trade in quote later on.
Search the forums, there are guys that can run both reports for you for $10.

The damage looks like it occurred in Boise, ID two weeks after the car was purchased from us. Not fun but looks like the owner crashed it after taking delivery.

Damage was not caused during PEC driving then? It was bought by Porsche NA, restored, and then used as a demo car? Do you guys know the extent of the damage or have pictures of the car after the accident? At the right price I’m interested as I’m looking for a showcar/track car for my company. But I don’t want to risk car depreciating heavily after cpo is over, unless I could show potential buyers damage and receipts for the repairs by Porsche.
