Description:

2009 Cayman 2.9 Launch model. Second owner and completely maintained with all records since I purchased it. Mileage is 60,400 and the 60K service is done. Clear title and Carfax. Includes heated seats, 18" wheels, lower rear screens from factory. I added white front side euro marker lights, Lamin-X headlight and fog light protectors, painted calipers, spin-on oil filter adapter, Alcantara headliner, Halogen interior and license bulbs. Also comes with the factory engine cover and an HIP clear engine cover. Covers can be swapped in 10 minutes. I love the sound of the engine but if I've got a longer trip or need the quiet I'll just swap covers. Engine bay detailed and "Porsche" covers detailed red and white. I changed the rear hatch "Porsche Cayman" lettering to the newer style. Regularly detailed and has ceramic paint protection applied. Also installed a JVC audio system and custom dash surround to include microphone and cell phone integration, AM/FM, Sirius/XM with antenna, USB, Bluetooth, Pandora and DVD. DVD can be played while underway. Backup camera compatible. Also has the dealer floor mats, a spare carpeted pair in slightly darker color, and Porsche rubber mats. Fantastic condition inside and out with all services from LMN Motorsports in Virginia Beach VA up-to-date. This has been an incredible car and the most reliable I've ever owned. Garaged of course and fueled 90% of the time with Sunoco Ultra. Unfortunately, I'm moving WAY north and I just won't be able to drive it as much as it deserves. Needs absolutely nothing and I'd drive it across the country tomorrow if I had to (and I wish I could!).

Shout out to the clear engine cover - I did this on my 987 and not enough people do imo.

Budget GT4RS sounds . . .

Thanks! I put it on because I'm a nut for detailing my Cayman and I wanted to feel connected to the engine a bit more. I love the sound and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could swap the factory cover back on so quickly when I had a longer drive.

Is the alcantara headliner factory? Or was it added later?

The headliner was a replacement. Like a lot of Caymans, mine started to sag. A local shop applied the Alcantara and I re-installed the headliner to make sure it was done properly. Wasn't very difficult.

Ah. That makes perfect sense. The optional factory Alcantara headliner in the 997 looks very good. They really should have had an option for Alcantara headliner in 987 too.

I signed up to post this- this is such a great car. If I was in a position to buy this right now as my first Porsche, I'd do it in a heartbeat

Default SOLD on Cars and Bids

Just a quick note. I sold this on Cars and Bids. It was a really great experience. Unlike a "rival" auction site I didn't have 75 people making comments who had no interest in buying the car. Got the money I was looking for, connected to a great photographer, the site's support in setting up the auction was great, and I would 100% use again.
