Description:

Built in April of 2005, this Carrera S is a later production car with engine #M97/0169512053. The factory IMS update was featured on engine #'s after M97/0169507476.
I am the 3rd owner of this perfect example of a 997.1 S.

Originally purchased at The Collection in Miami, the car was retrofitted with a factory aero kit and factory GT3 wheels by The Collection. Also done at the same time was the installation of a leather dashboard and yellow seat belts (front seat). Eibach sport springs were installed at the same time to slightly lower the ride height. The Carrera S features sport seats, Sport Chrono, black-faced gauges, a factory thicker steering wheel option and factory short shifter. I have installed an Alcantera GT3 shift boot/**** and a set of aftermarket yellow door pulls to emulate the GT3 door pulls (one bolt install/removal). I have refinished the console and door entry sills as these pieces inevitably suffer annoying minor scratches. Also have a set of Rennline alloy 'track mats' in addition to the factory carpeted mats. The seats bolsters are perfect with no wear or discoloration. I have replaced the Bose amplifier on the PCM, and installed a Blue Tooth adaptor for streaming/hands free. utilty.

The body and paint is perfect. It has been paint corrected and ceramic coated. There is absolutely no road rash on the car. I have installed a factory 3rd radiator kit for extra cooling. The undercarriage and wheel wells are detailed. The 3.8L has a recent oil/filter service along with plugs and updated coils, a recent battery install and a new set of Hankook Ventus RS4 tires with less than 500 miles on them. It runs flawlessly. I had the cylinders checked for bore scoring when I purchased the car in 2019 and they were perfect.

I love this car. It's really a 'keeper', but mounting bills that accompanied a new home purchase have it on the market.

$72,000 OBO

I remember when that was for sale years ago. It looks even better now than it did. GLWS it looks like the cleanest thing around.

That car was mine for over 10 years. Did you buy from RMC?

I sold in 2019 with a little over 10k miles for $37k. Crazy market fluctuations past Covid for the 997 platform.
