Porsche GT3 2014 - 2019
Description:

I have a complete rear seat kit to put rear seats in a 991 GT3, 3RS, or 2RS.  The core of the kit consists of mounting brackets from Elfermotors, a company in Germany that offers a TUV approved conversion kit.  The rest of the parts are Porsche.  I sourced almost all of them new, but some parts I did source used.  See the schedule of parts in the photos.  I still have all the original packaging (bags and boxes) for the parts and can repack and ship to the buyer.

I installed this rear seat kit in my 2018 GT3 Touring briefly until I was given an opportunity to order a 992 GT3 RS, so I decided to remove the seats and sell the Touring.  It has been sold, so now the rear seat kit is for sale.  The upholstery on my kit is Black Leather, Black Stitching and Black Seat Belts to match a factory 991 GT3 Touring without deviated stitching or custom seat belts.  It matches both the Standard and Leather options for the GT3T.  If you wanted to customize this leather and stitching there are multiple vendors who will do that for you for a relatively modest charge.  I recommend Frank at Exclusive Option or Rod at Classic 9 Leather Workshop.  If you want to change the color of the seat belts there are also vendors who will rewind the units with the color of your choice to match the seat belts in the front of your car.  I'm happy to help you find this solution.

I used a translator to source the Elfermotors parts from Germany and sourced many of the other parts from Suncoast Porsche.  Some of them I bought from Ebay as well.  The list is detailed below.  The cost to me was around $11k.

I'm looking for this kit to go to a good home.  I have an "asking price" of $8k for it, but I know it really depends on the fit with your car, so I'm open to offers.  But I'm not interested in giving this kit away for nothing.  I spent a lot of time tracking this all down.  So in the end I may keep it for future use if I end up buying another 991 GT car at some point.  I would however at the moment prefer for this to go to someone who really would use it and enjoy it now.

To follow up on my post I wanted to add some photo instructions on how to install it. It's quite easy and takes an afternoon.

Disconnect the battery.

Remove this rear part. Just pull and it comes right out.

This is the part removed.

Remove the rubber floor and unscrew the nut.

Then the top carpet is removed. It is only held down with that one nut and Velco.

Next remove the rear C pillar covers. They pop off with clips too.

Remove the seat belt covers

Then remove the B pillar covers.

Pull up the lower carpet and you are done. You have a stripped rear interior on your 991 GT car.

Part 2:

Remove this GT car plastic bracket

Replace it with the Elfermotors brackets

Add the Elfermotors center bracket

Now you have brackets that replicate those found on the 991 Carrera.

Part 3:

The rest is just the reassembly. Bolt in the seat belts, then put the trim, carpet and seat bottoms back in place as a 991 Carrera has them, slide on the seat backs and install the center bracket cover.

Now you have rear seats in your GT car.

Sorry the GT cars do not have latch points. You gotta use the seat belts.

Did you have to drill for these 4 bolts? Are the holes threaded to prevent having to place a nut on the rear of each?

If I ever get that GT3 Touring, this will be what I would have to get to justify it as a family car.

Yes you use a 8mm drill to make holes and then install rivet nuts. You need a tool for that and they are around $50. I have a bunch of extra rivet nuts for the buyer.

Part of this may work in a 992 GT3. I believe they share part numbers.
