2007 Cayman S 987.1 Part Out
6 Speed Manual
64,000 Miles
It would not let me list enough parts individually.
Quick background, I bought the car used in 2016 from a local dealership to be a daily driver so that I can do local NASA HPDE/TT events. I did some modifications and ran in some SCCA and PCA auto-x and then finally went to my first track day. And in typical 987s fashion it blew the engine, I think the AOS overfilled and hydro locked the engine since it had broken piston, cylinder walls, rod, and block. So, I bought a used engine off of eBay from a supposed reputable source. Once I installed the engine it immediately had a check engine light and did not rev quickly and during the first test drive it had low oil pressure warnings. I drained the oil and dropped the pan and found a ton of material in the oil. I fought with the company and CC company for a refund/replacement and ultimately got screwed. Upon pulling the engine apart I found spun bearings and cylinder wall scoring. Loving the car and wanting to keep it, but not interested in spending ridiculous amounts of money to put an engine back in it that will most likely continue to do the same thing I have decided to make it a full track car with an engine swap.
So, I am parting out basically everything in/on the car that will not be needing for it to be a race car/roller. But for the right price I would consider selling anything, including the car as a whole or any body panels/suspension etc... Also, this is just everything I can think of, if there is something you want/need let me know and I probably have it.
All prices are OBO
