ISSIMI presents: 6-Speed Manual Boxster Spyder with 5,300 Miles. Folding Carbon Bucket Seats and Over $30,000 of Options.
When it was new, the Boxster Spyder was the lightest car sold by Porsche, a characteristic that sums up the philosophy that underpins the car perfectly. Not unlike the original 356 Speedster, the car is pared down and sharpened, which yields an elemental sports car which has already become collectible little more than a decade after the car entered production. The Spyder was introduced as a low production car which sat above both the base and S model Boxsters, providing more power and a more sporting ethos, both cosmetically and under the skin. This was achieved through the recently introduced direct-injected naturally-aspirated flat-6, which could be paired with either a traditional 6-speed manual or Porsche’s excellent then-new PDK. The Spyder lost 176 pounds of weight through the installation of aluminum doors and rear decklid, and lighter convertible top and interior door releases. The cup holders and storage compartments were also removed, and the radio and air conditioning systems were made optional as well. Firmer suspension lowered the ride height by about an inch as well, and the engine’s output increased by 10 hp to 320 hp.
This particular Boxster Spyder is equipped with a number of conventional and Porsche Exclusive options, which totaled over $30,000 for an original MSRP of more than $92,000. Options include carbon ceramic brakes, Carrera red natural leather interior with Alcantara inserts, PCM 3.0 with extended navigation, bi-xenon headlights, sound package plus, automatic climate control, sport chrono plus, sport shifter, white gauge faces, sport exhaust, deviated stitching, aluminum footrest, Porsche crests on the headrests, leather sun visors, and roll bars plus some interior trim painted to match the exterior of the car. The car has covered 5,300 miles from new and is in superb condition throughout. The front fenders, front bumper, and front deck lid are protected by paint protection film and the car comes with books and car cover.

Great spec. Looks to be 1/24 in Carrara White/Red with manual transmission. Add in PCCB's and it's the only one. Could be wrong, but according to the data I have it's what I am showing. Ultimate spec Spyder, to me. White/Red, PCCB's and buckets.
The gauge the seller was using must not have been calibrated properly since the difference between non-PPF and PPF areas looks correct but readings on whole car are higher than they should be, which likely is due to the gauge not being the best.
Edit: lots of conflicting info on the paint readings after reading through BAT. Definitely would be helpful to have updated meter readings for this car.
@Bxstr I appreciate your response but I still would like the seller to provide paint meter readings and an actual DME. My good friend flew an inspector out for this car when for sale ar BAT and we stopped bidding based on his findings. I am not trying to disparage the seller but this would clear some concerns up.

Of course, if I was spending the kind of money that this car is bringing, I'd also want updated DME and paint meter readings, especially since the last ones were way higher than I'd expect which like I said is likely due to the meter itself. Not discouraging you from going after additional info, just giving you a baseline from last year.

What’s with all the secrets? This is supposed to be a community. If there’s issues with the car just come out with it so that interested Rennlisters don’t waste their time. If not, don’t post innuendos in someone’s for sale thread.
Why people don’t sue BaT constantly is shocking to me
We recently bought a 1989 911 that was marketed as mechanically prefect. It needed about $5k in work. The brakes came seized to the disks, needed new shifter synchros, etc. Yea, I wouldn't do it again.
OP, cool car. Seems expensive compared to where the 981/718s are selling irrespective of any issues noted above. GLWS.

i sold my 718 to buy a 987 btw - they are far better in my opinion
Did you try to go for damages to Bat or seller for misrepresentation?

I’m definitely not trying to hide anything, FYI, but it sounds as if others have info on this car being fully repainted. Likely a good idea to get an inspector out there before paying big money.
