Guys, I'm afraid I screwed up on this one. Ro-Ja Boy was wired $1500.00 by me to his "wife" on Monday after getting his phone number and "real name" of Doyle Geris (318 745-9767). I have proof of the wire, but sadly the phone number remains unanswered, and my emails are not being returned. I thought this person was honorable and legit as he has 331 posts and has been a member since 2008, But I was scammed.

Just spoke with Manginirj on the phone this AM. Unfortunately, he was scammed by someone that found his email address in one of his earlier posts. Lesson for everyone to edit out personal info (email/phone/etc) on past posts as scammers are getting more sophisticated and abundant.

 

I believe I got the same treatment. "Doyle Geris" responded to my WTB ad on Rennlist for 993 Cam tools. Pay Pal $150 sent and now silence.

I was thinking it was a scam since he emailed directly and not messaged through Rennlist. Bummer.

received another user via PM, looks suspicious too with his lack of posts and avatar. User: Grant222
