  • Price
    $9,000
  • Location San Diego Area, CA, 92083, USA
  • Condition Used
  • VIN 12345678901234567
Description:

Salvaged CA Title  in my name in hand, currently Non-Op with the DMV so no back fees. Very good shape, was going to be a track car, that I could drive to the track and home, decided to go another direction. Very good shape, will be having it professionally detailed this Sunday (running Willow Springs this Saturday on my motorcycle, if anyone is going, stop by and say hello, large RV with 713 on the side, can’t miss it) and will post better pics after that. I thought the car had a clean title but remembered it wrong, $2k price drop to reflect my mistake. Transmission and drive axels still with car, no engine. Car is located in the greater San Diego area. Reach out with any questions. $9,000

Might of made sense back when replacement motors were $8k. Salvage title really going to crush the chances or worthwhile to bring back to the street.

@b8_rdc I have a roller for sale also, in my opinion, with as much as engines cost, to bring them back to stock 996s really does not make sense. A roller will sell for 6 to 10k but it is for someone to swap to an LS etc. 10 for a salvage title? On the high side but good miles and good colors so it is possible with this one

I don’t know the reason it has a salvaged title, it’s as I got it. Thanks

if you post the VIN i'll try and pull a carfax so we can try and see the history, it should tell us the last incident before salvage.

All are obvious

Not trying to be a _______ but youve owned the car and likely have gone over it closely as you were considering dropping 30-40k into a track build you must have an idea

It would help you sell the car if you could share your thoughts. As I recall DMV requires you tell them why its a Salvage title application
Appreciate everyone’s “constructive criticism” but no, I haven’t closely gone through the car, bought it and parked it for a time when I had the money to do the build, and no, DMV told me nothing as I bought it non-op paid to transfer title and have it remain non op.

I’ve been a paying member here for over a decade, not someone who signed up just to use the classifieds. Please everyone, if you have a question about the car, ask, if you don’t kindly keep whatever musings you have to yourselves. Thanks in advance

no details on the carfax either. but looks like damage loss vs a flood or theft.
