Time to sell this wonderful car. I bought a 996tt earlier this year and have concluded that as much as I love this car, I don’t need two 996s. It was a tough choice on which to keep but having spent a fair amount of time in 996 Carreras, I figure I should soak up the turbo experience more. This is not a low mileage garage queen, it’s a well built and well maintained driver. If low mileage is your priority please move on.

I bought the car at 125k, just about all the mechanical work listed above was done by me.
Known defects:
Small Crack in drivers tail light
Eibach springs make noise (had a Porsche shop diagnose this after rebuilding front suspension)
Small chips in interior trim pieces
Plastic Air deflector for front drivers wheel not installed because mount holes in plastic fender liner need repair
Small dent in rear passenger quarter panel
Front end has lots of paint chips from highway driving, most panels have light scratches you can see when up close
Starter doesn’t cleanly disengage and makes a bit of a squeal after the engine starts
