981's seem to be selling for MSRP these days. Not $10k to $20k more...
Really depends on the spec but they seem to be going above MSRP for good specs/PTS/clean no stories/etc. Last few on BaT all sold above MSRP which is a better indicator than PCarMarket but also just looking on Autotrader there are only 5 in the country for sale below 100k and they all have some type of negative(lots of miles, accident, over revs on DME, etc).

As someone who is slowly looking into a 1st gen GT4, this post basically said the following to me:

- OP was reaching for the moon on his original asking price
- Pmarket showed what the market was for that car at this time (hopefully its stablizing)
- Looking at the specs on this sold car it had what I would be looking for - carbon bucket seats, sport chrono

At some point there can't be enough buyers out there to buy sports cars (outside of just Porsche) at these crazy inflated prices. Thats my hope.

Never sold on Pcar….So am I correct thinking that since he sold it on Pcar for $92500, he had to pay 5% fee…so the car really went for $87,875 (4625 fee) ?

buyer pays the 5% finders fee. Seller gets the full hammer amount.
