Description:

Hello I am looking to sell my 981 GT4 in Guards Red. The car is siting around 8400 miles. Add a few for my weekend coffee runs between now and me selling it. I purchased the car with about 3500 miles and I am ready to part ways. The car had the major service performed by the previous owner according to the car fax. All service since was performed by Porsche Warrington including the transmission recall. I recently had the oil changed and the car inspected. The dealer noted the car was in great shape and no issues were noted. I can share those records if needed. The car is in great working order and I never had a single issue since ownership. The car has a clean title. The only defect that I can list is the normal misc. road chips other than that the cars paint is in great shape. I am a bit of a neat freak when it comes to paint work. The interior is perfect and the alcantara is in like new condition.

I do plan on having the DME report done in the next two weeks if there is interest in the car. if it does not get any traction on here you will likely see it listed on BAT.

If anyone needs additional information or wants specific pictures let me know. I will put up some pictures of all 4 wheels and any other close ups if requested.  The car is located in Bucks County PA.

Car is being moved to PCARMARKET Good luck to the bidders. This will be going up soon! keep a eye out! Lots more information, photos, videos, service records, and a clean DME.

one example. And it was a stripper. I wouldn't bank of that being the norm. A much more better spec'd GT4 sold after that one for significantly less.

Not a fan of ANY of those bidding sites.
the whole reason I check this page is because I want to buy private party from enthusiasts without fish market style bidding and back and forth.

I understand but it beats hassling people over price when your trying to move the car. Easier from a sellers perspective set your reserve and let the cookie crumble.

But it’s the easiest way to find the true market value of the car for sellers who don’t have time to wait for a dumb whale to come along.

its also a good way for buyers to also get a gauge. Certainly its easy to see true market value when you have a opening bidding environment with lots of eyes on it.

but sometimes the asking price and buyer's offer are in different ballparks. Sometimes the asking price is way off and the car sits. Cars that are priced fairly move quick.

Pcarmarket doesn't bring the bids like BaT does

do not let that fool you. Bidding usually picks up within 10 minutes of auction end time.

It has it's pros and cons. pcar has a quick listing turnaround time. I believe it's like 72 hours? BaT takes 2 months.
