Description:
The car is a highly modified 2009 987.2 Cayman S. The concept for this build was what a 987 generation GT4RS could have looked like. The car is fully sorted, fast and handles great! While it has been modified from front to back it still has a full interior.
The baseline car is a 2009 Cayman S with PDK, PCM with XM and Sport Chrono. The car has about 85k on it but all critical parts have been replaced with newer items. Engine has just over 30k on it. Only a handful of track days on it.
Plenty of modifications including:
Driveline:
- 997.2S 3.8L engine with just over 30k. Engine modification and tune done by BGB. Belt, O2 sensors, rear main seal, spark plugs & igniters, vacuum pump, MAF sensor and water pump replaced during the swap.
- BGB PDK cooler with front mounted radiator.
- IPD plenum and GT3 throttle body.
- Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust.
- BMC air filter.
- Odyssey battery in Rennline aluminum holder.
- Getty design 997 GT3RS style wing. FRP wrapped in carbon look 3M.
- Black centerline stripe.
- LH rear window NACA duct for engine bay cooling.
- Front tow hook.
- GT2 seats. Good condition but slight wear on the driver side bolster.
- Scroth 6-point harnesses (current).
- White CMS half cage.
- Prepped for Garmin Catalyst.
- Alcantara headliner.
- Alcantara sport steering wheel with paddles.
- Trim pieces painted in exterior color.
- Fire extinguisher mounted to the driver seat.
- Cayman Interseries front brakes (Stoptech ST60 six piston).
- StopTech rotors front and back with plenty of life.
- Pagid Yellow pads front and back with plenty of life.
- AAF Racing rear brake cooling ducts. GT3 ducts in the front.
- Ohlins Dedicated Track shocks. These are the actual units used by Ohlins to develop this setup and shaker tested on their rig.
- Front: Tarett Cup lower arms with adjustable caster pucks, RSS toe links, Tarett drop links, adjustable sway bar,Tarett upper mount (camber plates).
- Rear: GT3 lower arms with solid pucks, RSS toe arms, RSS drop links, adjustable sway bar, Tarett shock mounts.
- Cup car electric power steering pump.
- New RE-71R tires.
- Front and rear tie down hooks.
- OZ wheels on Rennline studs.

It still has all the interior so weight is essentially same as stock. I believe the last corner balance was 3270lbs.
I would guess around 400hp but I have not had it on a dyno. Hard to compare dyno readings anyway. BGB may be able to give you a better answer based on their experience with these conversions.
