GL with your sale. Car looks beautiful; I'm in a similar mindset as you--2015 white GTS PDK in similar flawless shape that has <3k miles (yes, that's right) that I'm debating on what to do. Local dealer offered me ~$110k buy back which I thought was awesome, until I see what others are trying to sell higher mileaged cars for. What kills me is debating on whether I should trade in and reap the tax break (only paying tax on the difference), which in Seattle is 10%...

The thing to do is sell your car to someone, and have the dealer you're buying a car from proxy the sale (buy it from you and sell it to your buyer) so that you get the tax benefit. Some dealers don't want to do that, but being willing to go elsewhere usually changes their mind.
