Description:

This is a heavily modified 1993 RS America with ultra low miles.  Jeff Gamroth of Rothsport modified this high compression 3.8 with bigger cams, individual throttle bodies, custom headers, GT3 center exit muffler and tuned by Jeff using Motec M84 and runs on 104 octane.  Car absolutely rips.  Very lightweight car with full lexan windows, carbon or fiberglass hood, doors, mirrors, and very special engine deck lid that Gamroth mentioned was extremely rare and valuable.  Full cage and ready to track.  I only used for DE days and will be purchasing a modern RS.  Clean title.

Awesome car, except for the sunroof, it’s essentially the exact build I’ve been dreaming of putting together some day. Unfortunately, I’m just not in a position to make an investment like this at this point in time.

but, I would love to know, what is that rear spoiler? I’ve never seen anything like it.

Yes thanks, it's an absolute beast. Slicktop is of course best, but it has a pretty massive cage so it's definitely plenty rigid. This car was purchased from TPC Racing who had originally built the car years prior, I believe they are the ones who installed the wing but I don't recall the name of this wing. Jeff Gamroth knew the wing well though when he saw it and mentioned it was quite a valuable piece. If someone wants to get into a air cooled track car, this really is the one. Similar to a 996 in the sense that it does have ABS, but no other nannies and this is all you need. Sure PDK, Dynamic Stability Control, Traction Control and all the others are GREAT, but at some point you might be better off just buying a Playstation. It is however a whole lot lighter and nastier than a GT3. In our ownership it's been used at a few lapping days only and it's definitely not afraid of GT cars. It's actually great at luring them into the real twisty stuff with about a 1000 pound weight advantage
