This is an honest 2 owner car with only 43k miles in great shape just recently refurbished with TLC. 4 speed automatic. 5.0 liter 32 valve aluminum V8 with 292 HP

First, if you're looking for a 928 you'll know that the 1986.5 cars with Vin #'s after 1001 had the new suspension and Brembo brakes from the next generation S4 that came out in 1987. People call these 928 S3's. It also has the 4 speed automatic which was an OEM Mercedes unit of the day and is meant to be shifted. Keep it in third around town for extra torque and acceleration.

I bought the car from the original owner's wife and while it was in very good shape, she did not have any service records and it needed some TLC. The following maintenance and refurbishment has been completed in the last 2 years amounting to about $7,000:

1. Oil/Filter changes
2. Transmission fluid flush
3. Coolant flush
4. Power Steering flush
5. Paint Correction - see pics
6. New floor mats
7. OEM tool kit
8. Bluetooth Kenwood headunit installed
9. Timing Belt and Water Pump replaced along with all hardware; New Porken Timing Belt Tensioner, gaskets, belts, hardware - all properly cleaned, refinished, replaced, sealed and installed.
10. Complete Intake System refinished and refurbished: All gaskets, seals, vac lines hoses, thermostat, sensors replaced; All intake runners, cam covers, mounting brackets, fuel rails etc refinished
11. Fuel lines replaced with Greg Brown Custom Fuel lines
12. AC system overhauled and blows ice cold; replaced drier, expansion valve, o'rings, HVAC relays, components
13. New spark plugs, custom made red wire set and all new next generation fuel injectors
14. Windshield washer pump replaced
15. New hood heat protector
16. New window tinting
17. New power steering fluid and reservoir
18. New fuel filter
19. New 5-Spoke Panamera Rims and Michelin AS3+ tires (willing to keep these and put OEM back for $1200 off listing)
20. Cam cover gaskets replaced and Cam covers refinished
21. New MAF, Throttle Position Sensor; Throttle body rebuilt and cleaned

All receipts available to serious inquiries. Car runs as it should. Interior is in great shape, no cracks in dash, no rattles, tight straight steering. Lots of other bits replaced or refurbished - too many to list.

Only known issues: mild tear in drivers bolster, normal paint wear and nicks for its age on a black car but is in excellent condition (looks like glass from 2-3 feet); minor rub marks on passenger side front bumper; window switches stick sometimes, but windows work properly; dash bulbs for R, 2 and D need replacement.
