I agree 100% with your statement about GIAC. They are by far the most conservative with their ECU maps, and are indeed sold and endorsed by Champion Motorsports. I have it on my 997.2 and did a similar (agonizing and time intensive) research prior to buying it in a Stage 1 package with IPD plenum and BMC filters. Software mapping and companies that are in this business have come a long way in the last 7-10 years, as well as Porsche's and dealer attitudes towards ECU upgrades. As long as it is conservative with set points and, a part of comprehensive systems approach to getting more power (i.e., more air in and more air out), its a reliable way of getting more power out of Porsche cars. Let's not forget that Porsche does it with extracting a bit more power for each generation of cars.
Cheers and GLWS!

don't have a spare in a 911 anyways, so what's the difference?

5 lug on a GTS is considered to some a rare option for a couple of reasons:
1. For track purposes, it's easier to change wheels. No need for the 2 person CL swap
2. There are more aftermarket wheel options for 5-lug vs CL

i get those arguments, but seems to not outweigh the "specialness" of the GTS standard stuff like centerlocks. every GTS that's been sitting on eBay for many months or longer has 5 lugs. I don't think many consider that desirable. you ordered right my friend. GLWS.

I am the original owner. Selected options and got the PTS build slot from Tom Wood Porsche here in Indianapolis. The car is perfect and has full body clear wrap with Ceramic Pro.
I can vouch for the car as having put the first 7 k miles on it.

Open to fair negotiations as the car sits.
The car is priced in the money with similar 2018 CPO cars.
I am planning on going back to stock and putting up on BAT with price adjustment. The car will sell.

Hello, my name is Tom Susko in Santa Monica. I have an older Mercedes that is a bear to get through smog certification therefore I am wary about such issues.
My concern is that your car will be rejected to even be tested by a California state certified "star" site with the headers and aftermarket cats and maybe the tune.
I agree with the forum that it is a great build, especially the PTS, but am I wrong that it won't pass smog testing?
Would you be willing to get it smog certified even though it's not due yet?
Obviously for most out-of-state sellers it's not an issue.
Thanks, Tom
