DISCLAIMER: due to my time constraints and weather out here in Chicago, the car will be receiving a proper detail and photoshoot in the next couple of weeks. Just wanted to put this out there as soon as possible in case someone is looking for their perfect 997.2!
Hello Rennlisters!
Up for sale is my 2009 Porsche 911 4S PDK Coupe with stage 2 track performer 4.0 Liter motor built by the one and only Jake Raby / Flat Six Innovations. Alot of people, especially on the 997 board are very familiar with this car. Back in December of 2018, it suffered bore scoring at 76k miles and it was sent off to Georgia to Flat Six Innovations compound for an extensive, no expenses spared 4.0L build that took 10 months (current wait time is 18 months for one of his custom built 997.2 motors). Please see the video below of the motor being inspected by Jake.
Extensive discussion on this motor and bore scoring in general can be seen here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...e-failure.html
After receiving the car back in October, ive been enjoying it extensively and have put about 4000 miles on the motor since. The car is strictly street driven and has never seen any track time in my possession.
Last month, while driving back home from work, the car threw a transmission fault error. After having LN Engineering tech come out and look at the car, decision was made to replace transmission computer module (TCM). After replacing the TCM, transmission was still not functioning so we ended up installing a used transmission with 40k miles from a 2011 C4S. While replacing the transmission, flex disc was also replaced to a brand new unit along with new and fresh fluids. The car shifts and performs better than ever now and has gotten rid off all the slop in the drivetrain.
Discussion about my PDK failure can be found here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...g-the-pdk.html
The car has received clean bill of health from LN Engineering tech Andy, but of course PPIs are welcome and encouraged. The only issue that was noted is a torn CV boot that has been fixed since. This car needs to be seen and driven in person to understand what a wonderful machine this is!

I just received a quote from Fidelity for powertrain warranty for 48months / 48k miles for $4067 if a new owner of this vehicle wants to have a complete piece of mind, even though this car should be bulletproof for many years to come.
I would rate the car as follows:
Exterior 8.5/10 - couple small dings that PDR would easily get them out, and some small rock chips on the front since the car doesnt have a clear bra. Other than that, no big dents or damage.
Interior 9/10 - typical wear for a 10 yr old car but ZERO bolster wear on the seats. (pics to come)
Engine/Transmission/Powertrain 9.5/10 (Built 4.0L engine with Nikasil cylinders and true forged internals)
I pulled a Carfax on 1-28-2020 and its atatched here as well. It shows 5 owners but technically it was 3. Guy in FL, then Texas and now me in Illinois for the last 2.5 years. Im listed twice, and one of owners listed there is a dealership that was selling it in TX.
This car is one of the kind, but a person interested in it, will know that. I know im missing some things so this thread will be updated as something comes up. Feel free to shoot me any messages with questions. As mentioned earlier, i will be posting better photos inside and outside whenever i get a chance to get it detailed and properly shot.
Thank you for looking and have a great day!

Wished I can add this one to my driveway.

Brandon Clark (can't remember his screen name) had a 996.1 with one of your engines in it. He had it for sale here for a while and then offered just the motor, if I remember correctly. This was about 2 years ago or so. I considered buying his car. Went a different route.
That's the only one I think I"ve seen.
