Wow, beautiful car! I prefer a manual and that was really the only thing stopping me from reaching out to you.

Thank you, appreciate the kind words! PDK is just as enganging in my opinion, especially with the right exhaust and manual shifting mode

Just wondering what the horsepower would be in this car with the 4.0L engine in it.

As a 997.2 owner, how is the suspension holding up? Has it required refreshing yet? Mine has 34,000 miles and I would like to budget for an upgrade to TPC coilovers at some point, but I would like to get a bit more life out of my current setup.

Damn, this is a nice ride. I wonder how the engine pulls compared to a Mezger GT3 turbo?

Why exactly would you compare and NA motor to a Turbo Mezger?

I'm sure it's strong but not in the same torque way and Turbo car is.

Suspension is still great and doesnt really show any signs of wear, still very solid. I just replaced the tie rods as those were a little sloppy.

Not surehow it compares as i have never ridden in any of mezger turbo or gt cars

My friend has 991.2 GT3 but never had a chance to compare them yet due to weather

Thank you and you are right! Stepping out of the cars for now, concentrating on different parts of my life. Will definitely be back in the future though!

Sorry, the turbo must have been autocomplete. I see now that the statement makes no sense! If it said GT2 Turbo, then sure, but obviously that is apples to cantaloupe

Good to hear! I meant Mezger 3.8L, not the turbo, sorry! Most people haven't driven a 997 GT2....or even seen one

55-60HP; so this is making 435 then. Impressive. Definitely a cheaper way into GT3 performance territory. I am telling you though; those DSC coilovers are rumored to change people's lives (and make them think twice about selling their car).

Bummer that you had the double-whammy of poor engine design coupled with poor transmission design. These things should last for 200k, not 50k miles.

Pity, would have bought it in a heartbeat if t comes with MT. Nothing against PDK, but MT is still my personal preference.
