That's a 1.8L, correct?

I think it's a flat4 1.7 liter. They had the 914 4 and the 914 6; this is a 4

Could you give more details on engine, etc? I'm looking for a track car.

Thank you Thad. I was asking the owner for details on this engine. It sounds above like he disassembled and cleaned the engine, all good, but I wonder what the boxing and shipping was for and to who? What was done to the heads? You also sent the calipers out. To whom? and what was done? If there are receipts, then that would probably answer myquestions. $15K is a lot, for what is described above.

Steve - I'm no expert, but I doubt this would be a good car for a track car. Also, if you want to send me your email address, I would be happy to email you all the receipts. You are also more than welcome to call Canton Auto Associates in Canton, CT and get additional details on all of the work. We spent the majority of money in 2013 and then rest in 2018. As we were initially getting it ready for action in 2013 to drive regularly, got all the work done, and then of course ended up not driving it; which is why work was done again in 2018. Now I start it regularly and drive in my neighborhood just to keep it going.

Wil: Thanks for the reply. Although these cars are for the most part under powered, and I haven't driven one except once on city streets for 30 years, I thought the mid-engine design would make up for a lot of HP and be good for starters. GLWS.
