2004 Porsche 911 GT3
This car was purchased new from Porsche of Orlando and used as a daily driver. Then it was traded in and resold by Porsche of Orlando and used as a daily driver again. It was never a track car. The car was serviced at Porsche of Orlando for 10 years. Full-service history is available through the dealership.
Soon after I purchased the car, one of the water cooling tubes came loose. I was going to take it to the local Porsche dealer but I was told the dealer might rarely work on or even see a 2004 gt3. So I took it to Vortex Motorsports who had and raced their own 996 GT3 Cup Car and worked on many other customers 996 GT3 Cup Cars. I had Vortex Motorsports in Tampa pull the motor and weld in all 8 new cooling tubes. Even though it didn't need it, while the engine was out they put in a new OEM clutch and pressure plate, spark plugs, water hoses, rear main seal etc.
The car has a Porsche 5 disc CD changer (currently not installed), cruise control, GT3 stainless steel door sills, Aluminum dials, and the optional headlight upgrade. This car is in amazing condition as it was not a track car. I did autocross this car but never tracked it. The average autocross run is about 45 seconds. The stock GT3 wheels were just stripped and refurbished, and have never even been mounted on the car. They are included and they are like new. Since I've owned this car I put only Motul oil in it. It runs like new and needs nothing. There are not a lot of 996 GT3's in this condition, that were never tracked with the cooling tubes already welded and not pinned, with a new clutch, pressure plate, and rear main seal. This is a rust free Florida car. Includes all books and 2 sets of keys and an indoor/outdoor, waterproof, fleece lined, 996.2 GT3 car cover. Free and clear Title in hand.
This car is completely analog as the only driver aids on it are anti-lock brakes. It is very powerful and handles like a dream. Numbers matching. Legendary Mezger Flat 6 Engine and 6 speed manual transmission. Have a blast while your money appreciates. This car is a future classic, guaranteed to go up in value.

So this has been listed for over a month now and not even a single comment. These 2004 GT3's are pretty rare. Only 750 were brought into the USA. Most were raced and many were wrecked. No one knows how many are left but these will one day skyrocket in value. And it is so much fun to drive. And the Mezger Flat 6 Engine and 6 speed manual transmission sounds incredible.

The car has a premium half clear bra, I also installed Titanium Lugnuts as they weigh less but also the stock lug nuts are ugly. These are beautiful. The shift cables were replaced just before I bought the car along with the sun visors. The Shocks and Mufflers were installed in March of 2018. You will receive the original GT3 Bilstein shocks and the stock stainless steel mufflers too.

Did the coolant line failure happen at an AutoX event at Tampa Bay Downs by chance? In either 2016/17 I remember two different black 996 GT3's having coolant line failure on the same day there.

Nice car. GLWS. Looks like its in excellent shape and these cars are fantastic. I would consider removing the "stainless steel running boards" from the ad since this isn't a truck - and call them "door sills" Good luck!

Price dropped to $67,900. All cooling tubes professionally welded, new clutch, pressure plate, rear main seal. plugs, fluids etc. This car needs nothing.
