Description:
This 1987 Porsche 928 S4 is finished black on black with a five speed manual transmission. The car was originally purchased new in New Jersey. As the second owner, I have owned the car since 2004. Since purchasing the car I have added a custom steering wheel, a short shifter, Cup 1 type wheels and tinted windows The car was optioned with a locking differential (220 option). The original paint is glossy but shows normal road chips for it's age. Latest services include a new timing belt / water pump (500 miles) a new AC compressor, and a new OEM front pan. The original LH module has been updated to allow for vehicle diagnostic functions. An aftermarket cargo net, a leather cargo cover, the original tool kit, an air compressor and spare keys are included with the sale. Sorry for not responding sooner but I haven't looked back on the listing since I listed it, I was just responding to PM's.
You are correct. Buyer backed out of the sale and was subsequently banned from BAT. I re-ran the car in November 2018 but didn't get my reserve (wrong time of year to sell a sports car) so I decided to put it up on Rennlist until it sold.

Evaluation
Clean car. Looks to be nice driver and well taken care of car. Interior is looks to be dash crack free and pod crack free. Its a 5 speed which is nice. Nice color combo, but if this was my car I would make have left more original parts on the car like the manhole wheels, Blaupunkt Reno Sqr 46, long throw shift lever, luggage cover and net, washer neck and coolant reservoir, A/C compressor, original undertray, remove GTS breather upgrade and just would have left as stock and original as possible and just would drive and maintain it. Over all it's a good car.
