Porsche 968 1992 - 1995
Porsche Boxster 1997 - 2012
Description:

This is a nice set of Kinesis Super Cup Wheels 17x8.5 & 17x10. These have previously been on a 986 Boxster and a 968. They should fit many 1987+ narrow body cars.

The fronts are 17x8.5 - 1.5" outer/7" inner rims. No offset is marked on the wheel but I measure them at 51mm.

The rears are 17x10 - 2" outer/8" inner rims. No offset is marked but I measure them at 61mm. One rear has had the center replaced. It is not visually noticeable but requires a 1/2" spacer to match the offset of the other side. The spacer is included.

$2,200 plus shipping

Great looking set of wheels!!! I imagine these would also make a 928 look amazing!!I just bought a set for my 928 and I'm tempted again... GLWS

Thanks. Yes, they would probably fit a 928 too. I just realized I listed the front offset wrong, they are about 51mm.

So, one of the rears has a center that has a different "pad height" than the other; which also means it has a different offset. Do I understand this correctly?

Kinesis made slightly different wheel centers with different "heights". I believe this is so they could get the offsets they wanted in between the sizes you can get by just changing rim halves. One of the rear centers is the same as the centers on the fronts. It requires a 1/2" spacer to get the correct offset and to match the other side. The difference is hard to see visually. You welcome to take a look at them - weather permitting.

In case anyone wonders what 17" Kinesis look like on various cars. While not these exact wheels, these are good examples of how they look.
