Default 2016 Turbo or 2017 GTS

Searched and haven't seen any threads on this decision. Looking for a daily driver and the pre-owned turbos are dipping into the 60's. Haven't been able to drive either, but was curious what other's opinions are on the differences.

Is the updated PCM enough of an improvement to sway the decision? Couldn't care less about CarPlay.

Won't see track time. Will be a kid hauler and golf club hauler mostly.

I saw this post on Macanforum that clearly lists the differences between the S and GTS. http://www.macanforum.com/forum/orde...different.html
I got a 17 GTS and am very happy. The 17 GTS is a great choice, but a 16 Turbo might be slightly faster, so it might depend on the options you find on a pre-owned model compared to what you can find on a new model.

I am a GTS option fan so the GTS was an obvious choice for me. I will say that the updated PCM was also a plus for me since I use the Nav for traffic info often and the new Nav uses Google for traffic info. In my area, it's available on many more roads then the Sirius traffic used on the previous gen nav. I also find the traffic data more accurate.

Amazing how manufacturers still get away with charging for Nav and improved PCM and this factors into purchase decisions.
WAZE does same as a FREE app. It's actually an advanced Google version and interactive.

I have 2017 GTS loaner and I am disappointed as to how slow the car is. Just doesn't live up to the GTS name. Otherwise, it's very good for a small SUV but overpriced.

My 2015 Turbo with plenty of warranty left can be had in the low 60's.

Sorry for the shameless plug.

We've all become spoiled when we think a 4,500 lb. SUV that goes 0-60 in 4.4 seconds is slow...
