Macan window tint
wow, this car is expensive to tint!
so i have Spectra photosync on my GT cars, which i'm quite happy with. when i inquired about doing the same to my wife's Turbo, the cost of covering all that glass was over $1k.
i don't mind paying the price for a premium product, but the car is leased and i'd be paying $1k for 3 years of use. on the other hand, the car will live its whole life outside in the Florida sun.
should i just suck it up and pay for Photosync? or are there more cost effective solutions that will do the job? it seems that ceramic tints offer the most UV and heat rejection after Photosync, so is that the way to go?

I wouldn't spend that much for a leased car. I'd opt for a standard tint for a couple of hundred bucks. I'm in Florida & I just had my front windows tinted, not the rest of the car. Factory tint on the rest of the car is fine for me.

your first sentence was exactly my thought. I just got a quote for $395 for Llumar ceramic all the way around including clear film on the windshield, so I think i'll just go with that.

This is very common, the biggest deciding factor is the added performance for those three years worth the price? Would you be happy settling for a standard film?
Also look into Prestige film technologies CeraLuxe Quantum Ceramic. It offers second best performance to photo sync while priced less.

Works out to less than $1/day over your 3 year lease. I'd say pay for the good stuff, it will make life inside the Macan a lot cooler and you'll be glad you did.

FYI, the rear windows don't have any of the qualities of the tint films that are applied after purchase. They're simply darkened windows. Hence the name "Privacy Glass". The factory windows don't cut down on UV rays and heat like the aftermarket films. If you want to block UV rays and heat in the rear, just put a lighter tint on those to match the darker, tinted fronts?
