Hello from NE PA. We are ordering a new GTS and want the seat ventilation. Question is would you go with 14 or 18 way seats? We are going with the standard leather package in black/garnet red. This will be our DD.

Best thing to do is to go and try both seat types at your local dealer and go for a 10 mile drive. Seat choice is very dependent on the individual's body type and what their perception of comfort is.

While I love the 18 ways I chose the 14 ways for my GTS as I find them more comfortable. Also with 14 ways the rear seats will fold flat whereas with the 18 ways they will be angled due to the high bolsters.

If you were NOT 6' or taller, I would recommend the 14 way because the 18 way seats have high bolsters where you might not find easy to get in and out specially it's going to be your daily driver and you do need to get in and out many times a day. But, do try them both and judge yourself.

I sat in a new GTS with 14 way seats and they seemed very comfortable-just as much as the 18 way seats. I am not thrilled with the 18 ways seats in my Turbo simply because the bolsters are so pronounced. We have to crawl over them and I eventually see damage with scuffing them every time we enter and exit the vehicle. I am thinking of sheepskins just to protect the leather.
