Well it has been 6 months and 15K miles
$311 for first oil change
$2600 for winter wheels and tires
Car is awesome. We still love it. But it is starting to take damage. Drivers door with 3 chips on the edge from being opened into things. Dent in Drivers door sill. Looks like someone hit it with a punch. Curb rash on one of the 20's. Crease in passenger rocker panel (that was my bad when jacking up the car). Multiple dents/scratched in rear bumper from loading/unloading.
It's weird to watch a new car get so beat up. Last new car we had was 2004 for excursion and we had 6 kids at the time. I blamed all the damage on them. Guess its really me and my wife.

It's a vehicle that you are using. Comes with the territory. Just this weekend the valet but a scrap on my new Audi Q5 with just 8k miles.
Off topic Question: How do you jack up a Macan? Does it use the same rocker pinch-weld support that my Q5 does? I have a slotted insert that just fits in my floor jack. Thanks

I backed my 2001 X5 into a tree when it was a week old, and put a nice little crease in a piece of sheetmetal too narrow to ever fix.
Not long ago I was in a parking garage and ran one of my wheels up against a curb I never saw until I felt it. Put about a 14" long gash along the radius of the left front wheel that I have to get fixed now before that lease ends.
This stuff just happens.
I have a 2004 Explorer too. I was driving it around yesterday thinking about how nice it actually is to not care so much about every little thing that happens to it.
