I already have it and love it. There is only a little maneuver needed when getting out to protect the bolster.

1: hold on to something
2: lift butt
3: swing butt out

I have my share of complaints with the way my wife takes care of her car, but surprisingly she has been very careful with the Macan. She won't even take coffee inside routinely.

Getting close on placing an order for a Macan S. Can anyone provide insight on the base seats vs. the 14 way seats? Do the alcantara inserts look nice, or cheap? In the configuratior it makes me add heated front seats so it's really a $2k option. Not sure if that's a glitch, or if you have to go heated. Thanks!

14 way seats a must but I like the 18 way better. Never used the heated seats but love the ventilated seats and use them often. I did not do air suspension and don't miss it at all. You will love what ever you decide. Have fun

Probably the most missed option for me is the Air Suspension and the ability to lower the car to a more less top heavy driving stance. I would definitely order that.

Options I like:
AS
Pano roof
Full leather

Options I'd skip
Walnut steering wheel

I think Alcantara is good for areas that barely get touched (e.g. roof lining). I have the 18-ways and love them. I did have alcantara couches and after they get worn, they don't look as good anymore. Actually, given the option between leatherette (vinyl) vs. alcantara for seating surfaces, I'll opt for leatherette.
