Default H&R Lowering

After pic, love the gone monster-truck wheelwell gap.
Now the car sits like it should.
Better roll resistance in turns.
Really glad I did this (non-PASM).

Leith,my dealer. I thought it best to have them do the install. I don't have any concerns that there would be warranty issues with the shocks but having the dealer do it probably is better for relations and gave their techs Macan experience.

Looks fantastic. Can you provide some more feedback on the ride quality?

Actually feels just like the stock springs, maybe a TOUCH stiffer, but only really noticeable in turns, off-ramps.

This was a no-brainer decision.

After post-build additions Sport Plus, RS Spyder wheels, Sport Exhaust and the springs I'm pretty much 'done'.

Looks great! Does the lowering result in a change in camber? My concern would be increased tire wear, particularly in the rear.

Looks awesome. How many inches did the springs lower it?

btw, how much you wanna bet you're not 'done'?

Thanks

Haha, I never even MEASURED the monster truck gap before and after putting the springs on. H&R advertises a 1.5" drop max, and I'm fine with what my eyes tell me.

You are correct, we are never 'done'. Next is to tint the front driver and passenger window to match the factory tint on the rest of the car (and I don't tint windshields at all, but the banner is a nice sun blocker, and with no sunroof makes the car very 'nice dark cockpit' inside with the black interior).

Bringing this thread back to life, since on another forum, a member just installed the H&R lowering springs on his Turbo...did the job himself in 2.5 hours. Said he had no problems and didn't require any special Porsche-specific tools. I had previously checked with a supposedly-reputable firm advertising this mod and they quoted a little over a full day's labor. Do I smell something funny here?
