Default Friend just got a Macan S and wants a Turbo

A friend of mine just picked up a Macan S and loves the car, but now he's looking for a turbo. Being that allocations are low, if anyone is interested in picking one up please PM me. He's located in NJ. The car is white over black and has 875 miles on the odo.

It sold in less than a day on eBay. I was interested but could not get wifey's approval quick enough. He said he has a Turbo on order in the ad.

What did he pay for it, and what did he sell it for?

My recollection is he paid $64 something MSRP, and he was asking $62, saying call his cell phone. When I checked the next AM, it showed it was closed with a price of $68 (not sure what that meant since it was not a bid. $62 was a buy it now price.)

So the biggest hit was likely the sales tax on original purchase.

Its possible that an exporter purchased the car. An exporter will pay a premium for that car, especially one with less than 1,000 miles. The exporters are having a difficult time getting these cars for now.

Over a year?! That's pretty wild.
I just ordered one this morning and it has a November delivery, so only four months away..

S or Turbo? How did the lead times compare? I'm curious. And where are u located?

Just read that there was somebody bought a new nicely equipped Cayman S in Beachwood OH and traded it in with only 57 miles on it for a new Macan. What's that say about the Macan!
