Agree with you 100%. Looks to me like they are relying purely on the physical appearance of the car and the P badge. To me when I saw the sliding single piston caliper on the rear brakes that was enough for me. And having an engine line up that isn't even to the measure of others with engines of the same capacity pretty well says it all unfortunately. Sure its a great looking car for what it is and it's a Porsche and all but hey come on.

How many people would consider a 300 HP 4-cylinder Macan? I would if it was lighter and handled like a GLA. A manual transmission would be highly desirable too.

I'm prejudice against 4 cylinders for their inherent nature and sound. Even the best 4's to be don't have a sophisticated sound nor engine feel compared to a decent 6+.

And aural sensation means to much to me, so I couldn't personally go 4 cylinder Macan. Hopefully they don't bring it to the States, very unnecessary.

Light, nimble, close ratio, paddles, 30 mpg, worst part is tire noise.

400 hp(?) version way more.

These small cars scoot, now if I could figure out how to do figure 8's.

Porsche has some pretty extensive history with 4-cylinder engines. Why would picking up where the 968 left off be a bad option for people who prioritize nimble balanced handling over straight line speed and noise?
