You almost get nothing for an ordered car (exceptions of course apply) but there are discounts available for off the lot cars.

My dealer had tons of base macan's two or three S models and no GTS on the lot. I took their last May allocation for a GTS build and they were not sure at the time if they will be getting a June allocation. Unless more allocations open up, these can be the last ones.

Its still so hard to believe that we can order a brand new 14 year old car, This was the only selling point for Mrs. as she wanted the old school gauges no, Cayenne, X5, SQ8 can offer........so Macan it is :-)

My dealer had one GTS on the lot, which I test drove. I asked if I could get a build slot. He said he wasn't sure but then got me "their last slot" -- a June build. The GTS on the lot sold the next day. BTW they had lots of electric and base and a handful of S's on the lot.

I don't know how many buildable GTS slots are still available but I doubt many and I doubt at much, if any, of a discount.

Yes it is decidedly old school but then so am I. Dealer told me that there would be a non-electric replacement but it wouldn't be called a Macan.

Hi Guys, Thanks for all the great replies. The dealership close to me just got a Macan GTS in and I am interested but not ready yet, also several thousand dollars away on asking price. They are telling me that they don’t except to be getting any next year, 2027, I was really hoping for spring 2027. I should be able to save enough to bridge the price gap. I didn’t know if I should believe them. I should mention that the Macan would replace my 2020 Jetta GLI. Since I don’t comment here I often, I also have a 2018 Ford Focus RS and a 2024 911 Turbo S. I love both cars and don’t want to give up either just yet. I will eventually but not now, both knees are bothering me now so I may give up the RS sooner because it’s a 6 speed manual. I am going to try driving it a little longer. If it bothers me to shift gears then I know the answer.

Also all my cars are red and the Macan is not red. The kids don’t want me to buy another red car.

Macan "ends" production June/july 2026 - No Ice Macans after that on current platform. Next platform is being revamped from all electric to potenitaaly includes a ICE or ICE hybrid going forward - those are 2028 or after, most likely 2029. If ou want a current GTS platform, you will be looking to buy from dealer inventory in the next 4 months - then looking at preowned options.

Here is a link to the new "red" Macan GTS inventory at dealers - a few more will trickel in from now through July - but this is what is out there now and a good way to look for what you want.
