Default Ordered my 3rd Macan S…

2015, 2019 and now a 2026 on order. Usually went low option, but added a few fun options this time. Sport exhaust, sport chrono and air suspension…

Nice! I've got those options on my '23 S and love all of them!

Interested to hear your review of air suspension after some miles.

Thanks! I actually went back and forth on whether to add the air suspension or not. I've never had it before and all of the reviews are positive, so I'm giving it a try!

Congrats! Just picked up my third Macan. 2015 Turbo, 2020 Turbo, and now 2026 GTS.

FWIW, I'm a BIG fan of the air suspension. I was a little worried at first as my only experience with air suspension is Acura's implementation on my wife's RDX. The ride isn't very good - harsh, and not very compliant while still allowing lots of roll with weight shifts in corners.

The air on my Macan S is the complete opposite. It's firm, but still compliant, and keeps the car very flat through corners. I use it on Sport Mode + Lowered for everyday driving. For me, it's the perfect balance between ride comfort, and sporty feel. The ride height adjustments are great too. I stay lowered, but have used the highest position on several occasions to clear curbs, or going over dirt mountain trails with ruts and rocks.

I know some people like the standard suspension better, but my only experience with it is in 911's, which is a totally different animal.

Wow..guess newer doesn't check all the boxes. All your 993's , at least when I was on that forum, were perfect specimens. This reminds of another previous 993 owner, only he's into 997's now and up to his 9th one.

993's are special, enjoy her in good health. If you get bored with the 993, try a 997 as there's alot of 993 DNA in there, just not as hawt in the looks dept.

Thanks. I do like 997’s as well. I assume the later ones are the best? When I got into 993’s in 2007, they were just used 911’s. Man, that has changed. This was my last that I sold to buy the 992. Wish I still had it!

BTW…hope you’ve been well!

So slightly off topic - how do you like the Swisstrax under your Macan (see I mentioned the car)?

It’s actually Racedeck and it is excellent. Mine is 17 years old now! Highly recommended.
