Nice! Swisstrax is on my 2028 plan. I'd consider Racedeck, but Switsstrax enables custom designs far easier, it would seem. Thanks!
Both are great. I had Racedeck then changed to Swisstrax. Swisstrax is a bit thicker, so it makes less noise when walking on it and you can see less of the floor underneath when walking on it.
I think designs should be equal on either one. Maybe you're referring to the configurator though. I did a basic design so this was less of an issue. Have had Swisstrax for 10 years. No issues.

Yeah...well....since I'll have a honda s2000 on one side and a CGTS on the other, I don't want to get confused and park in the wrong spots. As a result I have 1 bay with porsche logo trax and the other with honda logotrax planned. You know, In case I don't remember which marque has what colors in their livery. The middle is where I'll park the Gladiator to keep the peace with plain flooring.
Thanks. I do like 997’s as well. I assume the later ones are the best? When I got into 993’s in 2007, they were just used 911’s. Man, that has changed. This was my last that I sold to buy the 992. Wish I still had it!
BTW…hope you’ve been well!
Yes sir, just getting older and moving a little slower.
The later ones, the .2s are highly desirable. I know of someone in the
area that recently picked up a 997.2 for 150K, so there's a demand. The .1 reminds me alot of the 993 without the smell, old school but added creature comforts. They do have BS issues so an indept PPI is a must when buying. And yes, the market for 993's have gone insane, especially for what they are. Got mine in 2005, and in 2008 you could of gotten higher mileage WBs for low 30's, lol. I kick myself for not picking up decent miles turbos in 2005 in the 60k range, when I got my NA.
I was on the fence about which one to get. My issue was that I don't like a number of the GTS finishes like the Race-Tex, satin paint, clear taillights and black wheels. By the time I changed all of that stuff, I couldn't justify the cost differential for a daily work car. Decided to just save the money and put it into another 993.

You decided to save money by ordering a new daily Porsche and buying another 993? This needs to be the official slogan of Rennlist.
